I think the more women we have running for office the better.

I first decided to run for Congress when I was 29 - and became a Representative at the age of 30.

As military spouses move from state to state with their servicemember on military orders, it is important that we do what is necessary to make sure they have the opportunity to maintain their hard-earned professional licensing and certification.

I support religious liberty, but I also think it is very important as a Republican Party that we bring a compassionate tone when talking about women's health care issues, when we talk about pro-life and pro-choice.

Overwhelming, student loan payments are holding millions back from buying homes, starting families, and saving for retirement.

Nothing replaces hard work.

Women have different challenges. You have to be willing to put in the hours and work harder.

Pell grants are critical tools for lower- and middle-income students to access higher education, and by expanding access to year-round courses, we can help non-traditional students complete their education sooner, allowing them to start their careers and pay off their loans.

I had this perception based on my own frustrations with Washington, but I didn't realize until I launched this campaign how much people are looking for a new generation of leadership and a new approach in Washington.

We must continue to ensure that the legacy of the Greatest Generation is preserved and protected so that all Americans can work to embody the ideals and values of those that came before them.

When our natural habitats become overrun by species that are not native to these areas, they can damage the environment, pose health risks, and even hurt our local economy.
