When we talk with policymakers about Facebook, it's about how users have control over information.

I love coffee, but I don't photograph it. That's not who I am. I'm a social creature, so my subject should not be the coffee. It's about being together with friends.

When I originally went into government early in my career, it was because I was interested in finding ways to help people by finding policy solutions that would help people. And what's amazing about Facebook is that we're able to use our platform to help people, too.

I felt Facebook had a lot of what I appreciated about government - being around a collection of really bright, thoughtful people motivated to have a positive impact.

Having the ability to relate to people is such an important part of management and leadership.

Instagram Stories. I am really excited about it. I think Instagram is such a great platform: It's so creative; it's so visual. It's an incredible way to experience the world through images, whether photo or video. I also think that our community is incredible, in the sense that it's such a passionate community connecting around shared interests.

Video is just exploding on Instagram - motion is the new filter. We're going to help people use visuals to tell their stories.

My overall plan for Instagram is to continue to create a tool that will inspire people to use their visual voice.

Mentorship is important for everybody, but it can come in a variety of forms. It can come from your boss or another colleague who may be more of a peer, or someone who reports into you if they have a lot of experience or creative experience.

If someone on Instagram sees that a friend is in a harmful situation, they can report it.

People want to connect over shared passions and interests. They're seeking inspiration. We see this over and over - in communities of people who are grappling with body issues, in the LGBT community.

Over time, we look forward to introducing new advertising experiences and business experiences on Instagram.

I think what's most important is for people to understand that they can advertise on Instagram.
